Q: Can we walk on the carpet after it has been cleaned?
A: When steam cleaning or hot water extraction is used it is preferable to wait that the carpet has completely dried before walking on it.

Q: How long do we have to stay off the carpet after it has been cleaned?
A: 8 - 10 hours, depending on the humidity.

Q: How long of a noticed do you need to book an appointment?
A: Ordinarily, a weeks notices is sufficient. Sometimes a couple of days depending on the time year. On the same day if you're lucky.

Weekends, the end of the month and pre-Christmas times are busier or than normal. If you're planning to have your carpets cleaned, plan ahead of time so as to not be forced into hiring any carpet cleaning company without having done your homework first.

Q:Which method of cleaning do you use?
A: We use steam cleaning also referred to as hot water extraction.

Q:Are the products we use safe for children and pets?
A: Yes, they are. The products are laboratorial tested for possible toxicity. With the cleaning solution, hot water extraction and powerful suction, we remove as much as possible pollutants from the carpet, including existing dust mites, germs and air-deposited poisonous chemicals.

Q:Do you move furniture?
A: Yes we do, but you could save yourself some money by moving the furniture on your own. We do ask that you move small items like lamps, plants, toys and drawers from the dressers, if the dressers need to be moved to get at the carpet underneath them.

Q: Will the carpet smell after the cleaning?
A: No, the carpets will not smell after the cleaning. We take the time to extract as much as possible dirt and bacteria with our state-of-the-art powerful suction steam cleaning system.

Q: Do you clean area rugs?
A: Yes, we do. Note: we do not pick them up, but instead clean them in your home.

Q: Do you clean upholstery?
A: Yes, we do.

Q: Do you apply soil retardant or carpet protection?
A: Yes, we do provide this extra service.

Q: Do you stretch or repair carpeting?
A: No, but we can recommend experienced carpet repairmen and/or installers.

Q: Does furniture need to be moved out of the room before clean the carpet?
A: Not necessarily. If you're having your whole house carpeting cleaned, you will quickly run out of room to put things. Big items like beds and sofa's can be easily shifted back and forth. If you what your beds moved away, please do not overload them was stuff as this will make them a only harder to move. If you want us to move your big cabinet in the dining room, please empty them of their contents before hand. Dining room chairs can be placed in the kitchen or in the balcony.

Q: Do you place any protective materials under the furniture on damp carpets?
A: Not necessarily. All pieces of furniture that are placed on the carpet immediately or shortly after the cleaning, have aluminum foil placed under the legs, to prevent rust or wood stain from forming. We recommend you leave those protective pads under the furniture for 48 hours afterwards.

Q:Do you first vacuum before cleaning?
A: We can do it for you, but then again, if you want to save some money, it is best that you do it before the cleaning.

Q:Do you pre-treat oily spots, food stains and high traffic areas?
A: Yes, we do. This task is called pre-conditioning and used in order to loosen up the accumulated dirt and grime. Sometimes particular stain needs re-application with a different spot cleaner. There are also stains that will not come out at all due to prior chemical discoloration.

Q: How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
A: Every six to eight months, you should think of having your carpets professionally cleaned. You may need more frequency if you have children and pets.

Q: Can you remove stubborn stains like oil, grease or pet caused?
A: Yes. We use an oil-soluble stain remover to remove this kind of stain. For pet stain we use a spot remover with enzymes that works well if the stain is recent. But in some cases, a stain complete removal may be impossible where discoloration has taken place. The only alternative left would be to spot dye for which there exists some companies in the yellow pages.
